Job Description
Steel Plasma Cutter
We are recruiting for a permanent Plasma Cutter Machine Operative for our client to be based at their Sheffield site. You will be responsible for producing high quality steel parts cut to customer specifications.
Key duties & experience:
Operation of plasma arc cutting machinery
Drilling / machining
Working in a steel/heavy engineering environment
FLT & overhead crane experience
Safe use of all machinery at all times
Accurate completion of paperwork
Locate steel plate ready for production, move plate around site overhead cranes
Finishing and grinding of burnt profiles and inspecting the quality of all products prior to dispatch
Load and unload vehicles using FLT & cranesHours or Work
Day shift, 7am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 6am - 1.30pm Friday.
Overtime when available
Bonus scheme
