We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products and services to our clients across various industries. We are currently seeking a skilled Plasma Cutter to join our dynamic team. Job Description: As a Plasma Cutter, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our plasma cutting machines to produce high-quality parts for our engineering projects. You will be expected to work with various metals, ensuring precision, quality, and efficiency. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications. Key Responsibilities: Operate plasma cutting machines to cut metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Set up and calibrate machines, ensuring proper functioning and safety protocols are followed. Monitor the cutting process, making adjustments as necessary to maintain accuracy and quality. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of plasma cutting equipment. Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines and specifications. Ensure that all materials are handled and stored correctly to avoid damage or contamination.Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in operating plasma cutting machines (preferably within an engineering environment). Strong understanding of engineering drawings and cutting specifications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.Benefits: Competitive hourly rate of £20.50 per hour. Regular working hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday).
