Are you a skilled and dedicated Plasterer looking for a stable, long-term contract opportunity? We're seeking an experienced professional to join our team, working on domestic contracts within social housing across the North East. About the Role
As a plasterer, you'll be responsible for a wide variety of plastering tasks within occupied and void social housing properties. This role requires versatility, a strong customer focus, and a commitment to delivering excellent standards. Your key responsibilities will include:
Skimming and re-skimming walls and ceilings to a high standard.
Patching and repairing damaged plasterwork.
Applying render to external and internal walls.
Rendering and finishing surfaces to prepare them for decoration.
Working efficiently and cleanly within residents' homes, ensuring minimal disruption and leaving properties tidy.
Interacting respectfully and professionally with residents and colleagues.
Adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies, especially when working in occupied properties.
Required Skills / Experience
Proven and highly experienced as a plasterer, with a significant background in domestic work.
A valid CSCS card is essential for this role.
Asbestos awareness, manual handling and working at heights.
Experienced in social housing or similar residential maintenance environments is essential.
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging positively with residents.
Reliable, punctual, and highly motivated, with a strong work ethic.
Able to manage time effectively and work independently or as part of a team.
Full UK driving licence and own transport.
