Plastic Fabricator
Location: Chesterfield
Pay: £15.06 per hour, 38 hours per week (set rate across all shifts, with increase after probation)
Shifts: 3-shift rotation - earlies, afternoons, nights (weekly rotation)
12 Week Temporary - Permanent Opportunity
About the Company
Metalis are working with a leading plastic pipe and fittings manufacturer, supplying products to sectors including infrastructure, construction, water, and utilities.
The company employs around 80 staff across multiple sites and has undergone significant expansion in recent years. The Role
You will join the plastic fabrication department, working on bespoke and varied batch runs.
Duties include:
Plastic fabrication and butt welding
Plastic bending (full training provided)
Drilling set holes in plastic pipes
Quality inspection of fabricated products
Operating a counterbalance forklift truck
General production duties
Requirements
Background in plastic fabrication, welding, injection moulding, or extrusion (or similar plastics experience)
Comfortable working a 3-shift rotation
Committed to building a long-term career
Forklift experience beneficial (training can be provided)
