Job Description
Our client is UK’s leading specialists in animal by-products and renewable energy, collecting and processing material – which is converted into meals and oils for use in pet food, cosmetics, chemicals, and renewable fuel. As we continue to grow and develop our operations, we are looking for Production Operators . This is a great opportunity for individuals that are hardworking and keen to be part of an existing business that continues to grow.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for production by overseeing and controlling the process and completing required checks and documentation to ensure quality and efficiency are achieved.
* Work on plate freeze section where temperatures are low to -30 degrees
* Support the running of production lines safely to produce top quality products.
* Report safety issues
* Monitoring work equipment
* Responsible for accurate product/package/code changes
* Perform specified cleaning tasks as per daily/monthly schedules.
* Contributes to ensuring a quality product is delivered to the consumer/customer on time.
* Any additional activities requested by management
Skills:
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Must have experience working in an abattoir, meat processing
* Ability to work quickly and methodically.
* Ability to concentrate while doing repetitive tasks.
* Awareness of health and safety
* Flexible approach
* Experience in operating Forklift truck will be advantage
Pay:· From £13 per hour· Performance Bonus· Night shift allowance Work schedule:
* 12-hour shifts (6am-6pm or 6pm-6am)
* Shift work from Monday to Sunday
* Day and Night shift
Job Type: Full-time
