Job Title: Plating Operator
Location: Glasgow
Salary: Up to £15.24phr +10% shift allowance
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
We are working with a client who provides advanced high-precision manufacturing services from centre of excellence in the UK. Due to continued demand, they are offering an exciting opportunity for a Plating Operator to join their team in Glasgow.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate manual chemical plating lines for various coatings
* Monitor production tanks through analysis and make chemical additions as required
* Carry out X-ray testing for coating thickness
* Complete job cards with all relevant process details
Qualifications & Experience:
* Educated to standard grade level
* Demonstrable examples of dexterity
* Experience working to high-quality standards on precision components (desirable)
* Health & safety conscious
* Plating experience preferred but not essential – full training will be provided
Skills & Behaviours:
* Flexible and collaborative attitude within the team
* Constructive approach and willingness to support peers and other departments
* Professional conduct when dealing directly or indirectly with customers

What’s in it for you?
* Full-time, permanent contract working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Once fully trained, you’ll move onto a two-shift rotation (early and back shifts)
* Shift allowance applied at the relevant rate once fully trained
