About the Role:
One of my local government clients are currently recruiting for an experienced enthusiastic and reliable Playworker to join a vibrant team. You'll support the planning and delivery of fun, safe, and engaging play activities for children aged 4–11 attending our after-school and holiday schemes.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in children's lives by supporting their development through play, creativity, and learning.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and engage children in a range of play-based and recreational activities
*
Support in setting up and clearing away play equipment
*
Ensure a safe and welcoming environment in line with safeguarding policies
*
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members
*
Promote inclusive play and positive behaviour
Requirements:
*
Experience working with children in a play, childcare, or educational setting
*
Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices
*
Energetic, creative, and team-focused attitude
*
Enhanced DBS (MUST HAVE)
