Controls Engineer

Based in Oxfordshire

8 month contract 

£50ph outside IR35

Are you passionate about food production, quality, and innovative manufacturing? We’re looking for a talented Controls Engineer to design, develop, and optimise automation systems that keep our food production lines running safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards

Key Responsibilities of Controls Engineer

Design and develop control systems for industrial processes and machinery
Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions
Conduct system testing, commissioning, and ongoing support
Optimise performance, reliability, and safety of automated systems
Requirements of the Controls Engineer

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Automation, or related field
Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley)
Previous experience within FMCG, Automation or similar
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The benefits of this Controls Engineer contract are:

Minimum of 40 hours per week available
Outside IR35
Long term contract
