Commercial Plumber – East London / Essex – £250 Per Day – Long-Term Work
We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Commercial Plumber to join a well-established contractor covering projects across East London and Essex.
This is a permanent opportunity on a self-employed basis, offering consistent long-term work across both installation projects and maintenance contracts.
💷 Rate: £250 per day
📍 Location: East London / Essex

🔧 Type of Work
This role operates across two sides of the business:
Installation Projects
*
Installing plant rooms and associated pipework
*
Working on commercial projects including hospitals, museums and leisure centres
*
Working alongside experienced site teams on planned installations
Maintenance & Reactive Works
*
Plumbing maintenance across commercial buildings
*
Fault finding and small repair works
*
Typical jobs include leaking taps, changing TRVs, and minor system repairs
📞 On-Call Rotation
*
1 week per month on-call
*
Call-outs during normal working hours are included in the day rate
*
After-hours call-outs include an additional £150 payment
Most call-outs are simple maintenance issues rather than major repair work.
🚐 Vehicle
If you already have your own van, that’s ideal and you’ll be able to use it for the role.
However, a company vehicle can also be provided for the right candidate. This makes the role a great option for plumbers who may not currently have their own van but are looking for stable long-term work with the support of a vehicle supplied.
