Job Description
Temple are looking for a Pumber / Electrician for various projects around the Yorkshire area.
Start dates and duration are to be confirmed.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years proven experience and hold the relevant qualifications - ECS / JIB card.
Responsibilities
* Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and fittings.
* Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
* Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing tasks.
* Perform welding tasks as necessary for pipe repairs or installations.
* Assemble and install plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters.
* Carry out carpentry work related to plumbing installations.
* Lift heavy materials and equipment safely during installations or repairs.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Duties
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
* Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify faults or issues.
* Troubleshoot electrical problems and provide effective solutions.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless project completion.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time taken.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing systems.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
* Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
* Experience with welding techniques is highly desirable.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
* A valid commercial driving licence is an advantage for transporting materials.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
* Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role within the electrical field.
* Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in electrical work.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and safety protocols.
* Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately.
