Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with various tools and materials. Responsibilities
* Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with safety standards and building codes.
* Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete tasks efficiently.
* Conduct inspections to identify issues with existing plumbing infrastructure and recommend appropriate solutions.
* Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required for installation or repair projects.
* Assist in the assembly of plumbing components and systems for new constructions or renovations.
* Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of tools and materials to various sites.
* Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used.
* Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
* Proven experience in plumbing, with additional skills in welding, carpentry, or mechanical knowledge considered advantageous.
* Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques related to plumbing tasks.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
* Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations and repairs.
* Valid driving licence suitable for operating commercial vehicles is preferred.
* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Good physical condition with the ability to work in confined spaces or on elevated surfaces when necessary.
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in plumbing or related trades are desirable but not essential.
