Job Title: Plumber
Location: Bedford
Rate: £20 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday, 37 hours per week
Role Purpose Carry out all disciplines of plumbing work, including legionella testing where necessary, to maintain buildings and assets. This role covers repairs, refurbishments, and upgrades, ensuring that all work meets the required standards.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out plumbing works to a high standard across properties and assets.
Support compliance with Health & Safety legislation, including CDM Regulations 2015 and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
Maintain a high regard for personal and colleagues’ health and safety.
Report any accidents, near misses, or unsafe working practices.
Use, maintain, clean, and store all tools, equipment, and vehicles safely. Report damaged or unfit equipment immediately.
Carry out associated tasks in carpentry, tiling, plastering, and decorating as required during peaks, troughs, or skill shortages.
Requirements
Proven experience in plumbing and related building maintenance work.
Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Flexible and able to assist in associated trades when needed.
