Multi-Skilled Plumber
 Salary: £30,000 – £34,000
 Location: University of the West of England (Bristol)
 Permanent 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

About the RoleBuild Recruitment are currently working with a client to recruit a Multi-Skilled Plumber to join their established Facilities Management team on the University of the West of England contract.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing and forward-thinking FM business, working on a well-structured and high-performing contract with strong leadership and long-term stability.

What You’ll Be Doing
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical and plumbing systems
Working on hot and cold water systems (HWS & CWS), heating systems, radiators, valves, toilets, and showers
Completing remedial repairs and minor building fabric works where required
Diagnosing faults and resolving technical issues using your own initiative
Sourcing parts and liaising with suppliers or manufacturers when needed
Accurately recording all works using PDAs or electronic systems
Working closely with the helpdesk and wider FM team to ensure efficient service delivery
Ensuring all work is completed within agreed timescales and to a high standard
Adhering strictly to Health & Safety procedures, including point-of-work risk assessments
Participating in an out-of-hours rotaWhat We’re Looking For
NVQ Level 2 (or higher) in Plumbing
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a building maintenance or FM environment
Strong experience with planned, reactive, and remedial maintenance
CSCS or ECS card
Full UK driving licence
Comfortable using PDAs or mobile systems for job management
A proactive, problem-solving approach with strong attention to detail
Reliable, professional, and able to work both independently and as part of a teamWhy Apply?
