Within our Project Services division, the small works team plays a crucial role in the day-to-day delivery of planned minor works across a diverse range of prisons across our clients sites.
Position
Reporting to the Project Services Operations Supervisor the Plumber will be responsible for project work across Lewes.
Carrying out maintenance of heating installations
Completing installation and maintenance of plumbing, drainage, and sanitation installations
Undertake faultfinding diagnosis, problem-solving, and analysis of plant operation appertaining to the operation and efficacy of the installed mechanical systems (including plumbing, drainage, heating, and HVAC systems).
Carry out relevant testing and certification of mechanical plant and systems in accordance with all appropriate regulations and within the remit of the postholder’s relevant qualifications.
To always work in a safe manner and to a high standard, in line with best working practices
