We're looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Plumber to join a professional facilities management team based in Coalville, offering a basic salary of up to £39,000 per annum.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced plumber to take on a varied role, working across a busy facility and helping to keep essential systems operating safely and efficiently.
The Role
As a Maintenance Plumber, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, installations, testing and fault finding across plumbing and mechanical systems.
You'll work as part of a wider maintenance team, supporting day-to-day building operations while also responding to breakdowns, emergencies and maintenance requirements.
What You'll Be Doing
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, installations and fault finding on plumbing and mechanical systems.
Maintain water supply and distribution systems, including valves, fixtures and outlets.
Install and maintain pipework, water systems and plumbing fixtures in accordance with drawings, specifications and relevant regulations.
Maintain waste and vent systems using appropriate equipment.
Complete plumbing inspections and PPM activities, including backflow prevention devices where appropriately certified.
Respond promptly and effectively to emergency call-outs and breakdowns.
Work closely with contractors and site teams, providing plumbing expertise during projects and equipment installations.
Support general building maintenance activities when required.
Share your knowledge and provide basic plumbing guidance to colleagues.
Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally and in line with health and safety requirements and company procedures.
What We're Looking For
You'll ideally have:
NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing.
Previous experience in a maintenance plumbing role.
Good knowledge of plumbing systems and maintenance practices.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
A flexible and proactive approach.
A strong commitment to health and safety.
A professional and customer-focused attitude.
