Plumber - York | £31,000 - £36,000 + Weekend Allowance + Long-Term Stability

We're recruiting for a Plumber to join a well-established facilities team working within a secure prison environment in York. This is a stable, long-term role maintaining the prison estate, offering structured working patterns, excellent benefits and ongoing career development. Full support will be provided throughout the security clearance process.

Key Responsibilities
As a Plumber, you'll play a key role in maintaining the prison through:
Carrying out routine and reactive plumbing maintenance
Repairing and maintaining mains water systems
Fault finding and identifying equipment issues
Inspecting systems and conducting water sampling
Completing risk assessments and compliance checks
Supporting general maintenance tasks as required
What we're looking for
To be successful in this Plumber role, you should have:
NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating
Experience in plumbing maintenance within a commercial setting
Knowledge of plumbing and heating systems and fault finding
Legionella awareness (desirable)
