Plumber – Manchester
Are you an experienced plumber with a background in water hygiene and remedial works? My client, a leading provider of environmental compliance services, is looking for a skilled plumber to join their team in Manchester!
This position is a regional role and will require the successful applicant to be in a commutable location to the Manchester area.
As part of the role you will be responsible for carrying out essential water hygiene remedial duties including but not limited to:

Cutting out deadlegs
*
Flushing and Disinfection works
*
Maintaining and servicing water systems in line with ACOP L8 & HSG 274
*
Carrying out routine service work on domestic hot & cold water systems.
The ideal candidate will have a NVQ/City & Guilds L2 in Plumbing and previous experience working within the Water Hygiene industry. Having exceptional knowledge of ACOP L8 & HSG274 is advantageous.
You will be expected to work independently, take ownership of tasks and contribute to maintaining a high standard of water hygiene.

Proven plumbing experience with a focus on water hygiene

Ability to perform remedial duties such as cutting out deadlegs

Familiarity with water hygiene regulations and compliance standards
*
Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
*
Full UK driving license
