The Role:
As a pumber on our social housing contract, you'll be primarily responsible for the installation of new bathrooms and related plumbing works within occupied and void properties. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong customer focus. Your key responsibilities will include:
Installing full bathroom suites, including baths, showers, toilets, basins, and associated pipework.
Connecting and testing hot and cold water systems, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Undertaking necessary remedial work to existing plumbing systems for new installations.
Ensuring all installations are completed to a consistently high standard and are fully functional.
Working efficiently and cleanly within residents' homes, ensuring minimal disruption and leaving properties tidy.
Interacting respectfully and professionally with residents and colleagues.
Adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies, especially when working in occupied properties.
Requirements:
Proven and highly experienced as a domestic plumber, with a strong background in bathroom fitting.
Experience in social housing or similar residential installation environments is essential.
A valid CSCS card is essential for this role.
Asbestos awareness, manual handling and working at height.
Possesses excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills for plumbing systems.
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging positively with residents.
Reliable, punctual, and highly motivated, with a strong work ethic.
Able to manage time effectively and work independently or as part of a team.
Full UK driving licence and own transport.
