We are recruiting on behalf of a respected housing association for a permanent plumber to join their responsive repairs team. This position is being offered through a trusted recruitment agency and provides long-term stability, excellent benefits, and a supportive working environment.
Role Overview:
You will carry out plumbing repairs and maintenance across a range of tenanted and void properties in North Yorkshire. The role involves diagnosing faults, completing repairs efficiently, and delivering high-quality service to residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform day-to-day plumbing repairs and maintenance
Respond to emergency call-outs as part of a rota
Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards
Maintain accurate records of completed work
Communicate effectively with tenants and housing staff
Requirements:
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing
Experience in domestic plumbing, ideally within social housing
Full UK driving licence
Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
