Plumber – Mechanical Bias – Peterborough
Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE + benefits
Are you a qualified plumber with a mechanical bias looking for a role that offers stability, progression opportunities and keeps your work local? My client is seeking a skilled Plumber to join their team supporting schools across the Peterborough area.
This position is regional only, so you won’t be clocking endless motorway miles. Instead, you’ll have a role that balances steady, reliable work with the chance to develop your career further.

What you’ll be doing:
* Planned and reactive maintenance on pumps, valves, pipework, leaks and blockages
* Supporting small repair projects and occasional installations
* Managing jobs via PDA system and maintaining accurate records
* Ordering parts, liaising with suppliers and ensuring safe working practices
* Delivering a consistent, high-quality service across multiple school sites
What you’ll need:
* NVQ or C&G Level 2 in Plumbing (Level 3 desirable)
* Building services maintenance experience
* Full UK driving licence
* Enhanced DBS
Package:
* Up to £35,000 basic
* Electric van (with home charging scheme or site charging)
* Attractive additional earnings
