Plumber - HM Prison Long Lartin
£13.72 - £16.57 per hour
Full-time 37.5 hours a week | Monday to Friday | 3 month contract
Berry Recruitment is seeking a qualified Plumber to carry out maintenance and repair work at HMP Long Lartin. This role involves both planned and reactive maintenance within a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Routine and non-routine maintenance
Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
Ensure compliance at the highest with health and safety standards
Work alongside prison staff and maintenance teams
Minimise wastage and continually improve processesRequirements:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
Gas Safe Registration card and Legionella Control (L8)
Ability to pass enhanced DBS and Prison Clearance (essential)
Previous experience in operating light plant(custodial setting desirable)
