Plumber– Multi Trade – Newham Council
I am currently representing London Borough Of Newham Council who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate of which is negotiable dependent upon experience
We are looking for an ASC Brokerage Transformation Lead based at: WS1 1TP
Overall Purpose of Job
Carry out the duties of a skilled multi-trade operative, take instructions and undertake allocated work.
Comply with all health and safety legislation, whilst building and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
Deliver a repairs and maintenance service to customers by working effectively through own initiative and as part of a team
Multi-trade operatives to work on occupied and/or void properties as well as communal areas in the London Borough of Newham (LBN).
General maintenance and refurbishment in multiple properties In the LBN.
The post holder is expected to have a primary trade and could be working on;
- Bathroom and Kitchen Replacements
- Voids,
- FRA works,
- General plumbing/carpentry,
- UPVC window replacements,
- Locks, and door/window furniture
- Flooring,
- Tiling,
- Plaster repairs
- Joinery.
- Any other type of general Building Trade work allocated by the company
Requirements:
Formal trade qualification (NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds in plumbing, carpentry, or similar).
Experience working in a multi-trade or domestic repair setting, ideally in social housing.
