Job Description
Plumber / Pipefitter – Brazing Certified (Mayfair Project)
* Location: Mayfair, London
* Pay Rate: £26 – £2 per hour (CIS)
* Duration: Long-term project
* Start Date: Immediate
Overview:
We are working in partnership with a leading mechanical contractor to source an experienced Plumber / Pipefitter for a long-term, high-end development in Mayfair, London. This is an opportunity to join a respected team delivering work to the highest standard on one of the most prestigious sites in Central London.
Key Duties:
* Interpret and follow mechanical drawings, schematics, and layout plans
* Carry out cutting, soldering, brazing, and installation of copper and steel pipe systems
* Install plumbing systems and components in line with spec and site requirements
* Ensure all brazing works are carried out safely and to standard
* Use hand tools and power tools to measure, cut, and fit pipework
* Carry out pressure tests, checks, and ongoing maintenance where needed
* Collaborate effectively with other trades on-site to meet deadlines
* Maintain tidy working practices and comply with all health & safety procedures
Candidate Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a plumber/pipefitter on commercial or residential projects
* Valid Brazing Certificate – essential
* Blue JIB-PMES Card – essential (CSCS alone will not be accepted)
* Strong understanding of plumbing/mechanical systems and site safety protocols
* Able to work independently and interpret mechanical drawings confidently
* Good communication and team-working skills
* Punctual, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality work
Package & Benefits:
