We are looking for a Plumbing Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Plumbing Engineerto join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
As the Plumbing Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
The Plumbing Engineer, will be responsible for:
* Carry out a range of Legionella remedial plumbing tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) L8 and internal Water Technical Manual.
* Perform monitoring, sampling, chemical testing, and water system cleaning/disinfections across a range of client sites.
* Complete minor plumbing repairs and installations in commercial environments, supporting the wider Legionella control programme.
* Accurately maintain site logbooks in line with ACoP L8 and company standards.
* Take water samples, document results, and ensure compliance with Legionella control measures and reporting protocols.
* Submit all required documentation (job reports, test records, and customer queries) in a timely and accurate manner.
* Serve as a professional representative of the company while visiting client sites, ensuring exceptional customer service and communication.
* Follow site-specific health and safety protocols and ensure safe working practices at all times.
* Work independently and manage your own schedule to meet required deadlines and service level agreements.
To be successful for this Plumbing Engineer role you must have:
* NVQ Level 2 (minimum) in Plumbing or equivalent qualification (essential).
* Proven experience working as a Commercial Plumber, ideally within the Facilities Management (FM) sector.
* Previous experience or working knowledge of Legionella monitoring, compliance servicing, or water treatment (desirable).
* Understanding of the ACoP L8 guidance and practical application in a commercial setting.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to complete accurate documentation and reports.
* Basic IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
* Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and remain calm under pressure.
* Strong customer service and clear communication skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
