Plumbing & Heating Engineer, Mobile Role Covering East Lothian, West Lothian & Edinburgh, £18.50 to £21.00 per hour + Overtime + Van + Fuel Card + Great Work-Life Balance!
An excellent opportunity to join a reputable and growing team as a Plumbing & Heating Engineer working across the Lothians and Edinburgh area. This mobile role offers a competitive hourly rate and covers a wide range of domestic work, including boiler installations, reactive maintenance, and bathroom refurbishments. You’ll be part of a dynamic, supportive team with a strong focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Engineer Benefits:
* Competitive hourly rate: £18.50 – £21.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Engineer Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out domestic boiler replacements and installations with a high standard of quality and efficiency
* Perform fault diagnosis and reactive repairs on domestic gas systems
* Conduct gas safety testing in line with industry standards and regulations
* Complete general plumbing repairs in residential properties
* Take on bathroom installation works – including wet wall fitting (preferred but not essential)
* Deliver reliable service with attention to detail and strong customer focus
Requirements:
* Proven experience in plumbing and heating engineering, ideally in domestic settings
* Full UK driving licence – essential due to mobile nature of the role
* Valid CCN1 certification (Gas Safety Registered preferred – company can assist)
* Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently
* Relevant gas engineering and plumbing qualifications
* Experience with bathroom and wet wall installation is desirable but not essential
