The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our field team.
You’ll be responsible for installation, service, and maintenance across a range of domestic heating systems, with opportunities to develop your skills in renewable and smart heating technologies.
Key Responsibilities
*
Install, maintain, and repair boilers, heating systems, and plumbing networks.
*
Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics, and breakdown repairs.
*
Conduct servicing and annual safety checks.
*
Work on domestic and small commercial systems.
*
Assist with heat pump installations and energy-efficient system upgrades.
*
Ensure work meets Gas Safe and Building Regulations standards.
*
Maintain accurate digital job records (tablets provided).
*
Deliver high levels of customer service and communicate clearly with clients.
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Plumber / Heating Engineer (minimum 3 years).
Strong understanding of boilers, heating systems, and plumbing installations.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Own tools and PPE (or willing to use company-provided kit).
Desirable (Training Available for the Right Candidate)
*
Gas Safe Registered (CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1).
*
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent).
*
Experience with air source or ground source heat pumps.
*
F-Gas qualification (or willingness to train).
*
Experience installing smart thermostats (Hive, Nest, Tado).
*
CSCS / Asbestos Awareness / First Aid certificates.
