JOB DESCRIPTION
POST TITLE: Lecturer - Plumbing
LOCATION: Buckinghamshire
HOURS: 35 hours per week
CONTRACT: Full Time
SALARY: £37,200 - £41,880 per annum
JOB PURPOSE:
To deliver high-quality teaching in Plumbing, supporting learners to develop the technical skills, knowledge and behaviours required for successful careers in the construction industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver engaging and effective teaching in Plumbing
Plan and deliver practical and theory-based lessons
Use innovative teaching methods to support student engagement and achievement
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Support students in developing technical and employability skills
Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback
Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress and achievement
Complete administrative duties to support learner success
Contribute to curriculum delivery and continuous improvementPERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential:
Relevant industry experience in Plumbing
Level 2 minimum qualification in Plumbing (or equivalent)
Strong communication and organisational skills
