Job Description
Plumbing Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical/Plumbing Supervisor to oversee Mechanical/Plumbing housing projects and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively whilst being hands on themselves.
Plumbing Supervisor Responsibilities
* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
* Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shapes and sizes
* Assemble and install a variety of pipes, fittings, and fixtures such as valves and pumps
* Test plumbing systems for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
* Repair and maintain plumbing systems by replacing defective parts or components
* Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure efficient installation of plumbing systems
* Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing duties
* Lead and support a team of plumbers/pipefitters
* Work hands-on with the team
* Assign daily tasks based on job schedules
* Troubleshoot issues and escalate problems to management when needed
* Ensure quality standards and deadlines are met
Plumbing Supervisor Requirements
* SSSTS Certification
* Experience in a supervisory role
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Good communication skills
Plumbing Supervisor Pay Rate
£(Apply online only) per day on CIS
Expected hours: 40 per week
