About the Role
We are a well-established private training provider seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Plumbing Trainer to join our growing team in the Norfolk area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced plumbing professional who is passionate about sharing their skills and helping others develop a career in the plumbing industry.
You will deliver high-quality practical and classroom-based training to learners working towards recognised plumbing qualifications, supporting them to develop the technical skills and knowledge required to succeed in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging plumbing training sessions to groups of learners and apprentices
Provide both practical workshop instruction and classroom-based theory lessons
Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback
Support learners in achieving industry-recognised plumbing qualifications
Maintain accurate training records and assessment documentation
Ensure training is delivered in line with awarding body and health & safety requirements
Contribute to the continuous improvement of training programmes
Requirements
Strong industry experience as a qualified plumber
Relevant plumbing qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent)
A passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing new talent
Good communication and organisational skills
Training/teaching qualification or willingness to gain (such as AET, PTLLS, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential - support may be provided to obtain this
