PMLD Primary Teaching Assistant – Ammanford Area Location: Ammanford, Carmarthenshire Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-time, long-term (with potential to become permanent) Are you kind, patient, and passionate about helping every child reach their full potential? We’re looking for a Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in the Ammanford area, working with pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). This is a truly rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference every single day. About the Role You’ll support children across the primary age range (4–11) with a variety of complex learning and physical needs. Working alongside experienced teachers and a caring support team, you’ll help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for all learners. Your role will include: Supporting pupils with PMLD in their learning, communication, and daily routines Providing personal care (toileting, feeding, mobility support, etc.) with dignity and compassion Assisting with sensory-based and play-led learning activities Helping pupils to achieve their personal goals and celebrate every success — big or small!
