PMLD SEN Teaching Assistants – Make a Lasting Impact
Are you a compassionate, patient, and dedicated individual with experience supporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)? We are looking for PMLD SEN Teaching Assistants to join supportive and inclusive schools that make a real difference in the lives of their students.
This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to work closely with children and young people who need specialist support to thrive, learn, and grow in a nurturing environment.
Your Role Will Include:

Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with PMLD
*
Assisting with personal care and medical needs where required
*
Using specialist equipment and communication methods (e.g. PECS, Makaton, sensory resources)
*
Supporting pupils in developing independence, communication, and life skills
*
Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents/carers
We’re Looking For:

Experience working with children or young people with PMLD or complex needs
*
A caring, empathetic, and resilient attitude
*
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
*
Willingness to support with personal care and manual handling (training can be provided)
