Are you an experienced SEN Teacher or ECT with a passion for working with students with PMLD or SLD? Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity in a school that goes above and beyond to support both its pupils and staff?
We’re working with an Outstanding SEN Secondary School that is seeking a dedicated and compassionate PMLD/SLD Teacher to join their highly regarded team. This is a long-term role with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

About the Role:
* Teaching a small class of secondary-aged students with PMLD or SLD, supported by a team of experienced support assistants
* Planning and delivering creative, sensory-based lessons tailored to EHCP outcomes
* Working closely with therapists (e.g., physio, SALT, OT) to embed targets into daily teaching
* Creating a calm, inclusive classroom that prioritises emotional and physical wellbeing
Ideal Candidate:
* A qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS) or unqualified teacher with relevant SEN experience
* Strong knowledge and/or experience of teaching students with complex needs, PMLD, SLD
* Skilled in differentiation, alternative communication methods (e.g. PECS, Makaton), and multi-sensory approaches
* Patient, adaptable and passionate about inclusive education
* Committed to holistic teaching and a student-centred ethos
