Job Description
Are you a compassionate and skilled professional looking to support pupils with complex physical and medical needs? We are looking for Teaching Assistants with training in personal care, hoist use, and moving & handling to join our dedicated and inclusive team.
About the Role
In this vital role, you will support pupils with a range of physical disabilities and medical needs, ensuring their safety, dignity, and full access to learning opportunities. Your duties will include:
Providing personal care, including toileting, feeding, and hygiene assistance
Using hoists and other mobility equipment safely and effectively
Supporting pupils with safe moving and handling practices throughout the school day
Working closely with teachers, therapists, and families to meet individual care and education plans
Essential Requirements
Experience in a similar care or educational support role
Up-to-date training in personal care, hoist use, and moving & handling
A respectful, patient, and proactive attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
