Job Description
Locum Band 6 Podiatrist
Department: Foot Health
Contract: Temporary - 10 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday–Friday (flexible), 9am–5pm
Pay: £26–£29 per hour (dependent on experience)
* We are seeking an experienced and motivated Locum Podiatrist to join a busy Foot Health service in Lewisham for a 10-week assignment.
* This varied role covers both clinic-based and community work, delivering high-quality care across a range of podiatry specialisms.
* Previous NHS Experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with high-risk, acute, routine, and general foot health needs
* Provide community podiatry services, including domiciliary visits when required
* Develop tailored care plans and monitor progress to ensure optimal outcomes
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care
* Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records
Requirements:
* HCPC-registered Podiatrist
* NHS experience at Band 6 level (or equivalent)
* Proven skills in high-risk foot care, acute conditions, and routine podiatry
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseloadBefore You Apply
