Adecco are pleased to be recruiting for a Police National Computer (PNC) Clerk to join Devon & Cornwall Police on a Temporary basis until at least March 2026. £12.79 per hour Working 4 days per week, Mon, Tues, Weds & Fri - 32 hours per week Fully office based Hawkins House, ExeterPrincipal Responsibility: To support the delivery of an effective Criminal Justice system by ensuring information is communicated effectively: by inputting and maintaining police data systems (electronic and paper), and liaising with other agencies. In particular, to Prioritise and manage a workload, ensuring that timelines are followed, allowing time for other agencies such as CPS and HMCTS, sufficient time to deal with their responsibilities. Maintain records and reports in relation to Warrants to ensure that the Niche IT system information is accurate and up to date Conduct reviews relating to Warrants and PNC records in accordance with service level agreements Undertake research using force and national systems, gathering information from a range of sources, including partner agencies, to ensure completeness of information Effectively communicate either by telephone or electronic/written means all tasks or information allocated to or received from police personnel, CPS and other agencies Adhere to Force policy and legislative requirements Respond to enquiries, providing advice/guidance in line with role remit and line of authority#Essential Skills: Proven ability to use Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrable ability to use bespoke databases Effective team working skills, Proven ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision. Proven ability to manage a challenging workload Effective communications skills, able to converse with a range of agencies and individuals Excellent organisation skillsIf you have the skills for this role, please apply.
