Stafforce is delighted to recruiting for an exciting shipping business in Portsmouth Hampshire, who are looking to add a Port Operations Supervisor to their existing and will be responsible for planning, controlling and executing vessel operations, managing vessel discharges, loading operations, daily plan implementations and hazard identification.
What will I be doing in the role of Port Operative Supervisor?
Responsible for the management and development of a high performing, safety and productivity driven team.
Responsible for implementing the daily operations plan, ensuring that operatives are provided with the correct information, instruction, and training to complete the KPI's / SLA's
Developing and supporting internal team using regular communication and a constructive approach
What you'll bring?
Relevant certifications in shipping, logistics, or port management.
A full driving licence
Tug Master ticket with RORO experience (desirable)
Safety focused with a proven track record of managing the safety of a large team in a high paced, intensive environment.
Demonstrable evidence of motivating others, whilst demonstrating energy and enthusiasm.
Strong IT skills evidenced in an operational environment.
Able to manage resources to deal with an ever-changing schedule.
What does the package look like?
Holiday entitlement
Salary ranging between 35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
