About the Role
We are seeking hardworking and reliable Port Operatives to join our team at Stafforce. You will play a key role in the safe and efficient loading, unloading, and handling of cargo, ensuring operations run smoothly and on schedule. This is a hands-on role in a busy port environment, offering variety and opportunities to develop.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload ships, trucks, and containers safely and efficiently.
Operate port machinery and equipment (after training/licensing).
Secure, check, and move cargo in line with company and safety procedures.
Assist with general port duties including cleaning, maintenance, and stock control.
Follow health & safety guidelines at all times.
Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
About You
Physically fit and comfortable with manual work in all weather conditions.
Flexible to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
A strong team player with good communication skills.
Previous experience in port, warehouse, or logistics work is desirable but not essential - full training will be provided.
Forklift or plant operator licenses are an advantage.
