Porter/Cleaner
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm/6pm with one hour break unpaid and every other Saturday 8am to 12midday

£28,254 to £29,000 per annum - depending on experience
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced Porter/Cleaner to work at a residential development in Kensington. There are 46 apartments over 3 blocks and the working hours are combination of 8am to 5pm and 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday alternating with one hour deductible lunch breaks plus the alternating 8am to 12midday every other Saturday. You will be working alongside a live in Head Porter, carrying out both external and internal cleaning duties plus minor garden maintenance. There are no passenger lifts, so good manual dexterity is required to carry domestic refuse bags from the top to the bottom floors via the back staircase. Other duties include sweeping, litter picking, rotating bins if needed, vacuuming, polishing brass, dusting and any other ad hoc general cleaning tasks. The role also involves meeting and greeting residents, handling post and parcels and performing a small amount of telephone work. You will be interacting with residents who have high service expectations, so excellent people skills are essential.
