Positive Behaviour Support Lead
Job Title: Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Lead
Location: North London (with travel to Hertfordshire and Essex)
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Lead to join our dedicated team. Based at our Head Office in North London, this is a regional role that requires regular travel to our supported living and residential services across North London, Hertfordshire, and Essex.
The PBS Lead will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs by embedding PBS principles across services and supporting staff teams to deliver person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and review PBS strategies across multiple sites.

Lead on complex case consultations and behavioural assessments.
*
Develop and maintain bespoke, evidence-based support plans for individuals with complex needs.
*
Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to frontline staff in PBS approaches.
*
Work collaboratively with internal teams and external professionals to drive positive outcomes.
*
Monitor the effectiveness of interventions and adapt strategies to meet changing needs.
*
Promote a culture of least restrictive practice and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For:

Demonstrable experience in a Positive Behaviour Support role within the learning disability, mental health, and/or autism care sectors.
*
Sound understanding of PBS theory, functional assessments, and proactive/reactive strategies.
*
Strong leadership, training, and influencing skills.
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
*
Ability to manage a regional role with travel to multiple services.
*
A relevant qualification in PBS, Applied Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, or a related field is highly desirable.
