Job Description

Domus have an exciting opportunity for a Positive Behaviour Support Manager to lead the PBS strategy across East and North Yorkshire Adult Learning Disability services. Services are located across Hull, Bridlington, Scarborough, and Whitby with a York office.
 
 Ideally, we are looking for an experiences Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner/Manager but would certainly work with operational managers with relevant PBS qualifications.

 Key responsibilities of a Positive Behaviour Support Manager:

Lead the development, implementation, and review of the PBS strategy
Champion best practice and embed a positive, person-centred culture
Contribute to organisational growth and continuous improvement
 
 Key requirements a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner must have:
Proven experience in Positive Behaviour Support within health and social care
Experience supporting autistic adults, people with learning disabilities and mental health needs
Sound understanding of trauma informed care and supporting people with enhanced support needs and behaviours of concern
PBS qualification (essential); Level 5, MSc, ABA, or UK-SBA aligned qualification (desirable)
Confident coach and mentor with a collaborative leadership style
Knowledge of BILD ACT, RRN standards, and least restrictive practice
Excellent analytical skills and ability to use data to drive improvements
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
Most importantly, you are passionate about empowering people to live full, meaningful lives and supporting teams to deliver outstanding, compassionate care.
Driving License and access to a car.
