Set in a welcoming residential community, the centre offers learners opportunities both on-site and in the wider community—through local work placements, theatre partnerships, outdoor learning and creative projects. No two days are ever the same.
What you’ll be doing:
Supporting students aged 16+ with special educational needs in small-group and community-based learning
Encouraging independence and confidence through creative, practical and sensory approaches
Taking part in community partnerships with local businesses, charities, and arts organisations
Working closely with specialist staff and therapists to give every student the best chance to thrive
What we’re looking for:
Experience supporting learners with additional needs (ASD, SLD or similar)
Patience, adaptability and a positive mindset
A proactive and creative approach to learning—whether that’s through arts, sports, or hands-on activities
Team players who can bring warmth and reliability to the role

Hours: Monday & Wednesday 8:45–15:30, Tuesday & Thursday 8:45–16:30

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
