Location: Enfield | Start: September 2025 | Contract: Full-time (term-time only)
Remedy Education is working closely with a specialist SEN school in Enfield that supports learners aged 16-19 with a range of needs, including social, emotional and mental health challenges. The team is looking to welcome a committed SEN Teaching Assistant this September, someone who can bring calm energy, patience, and purpose to the classroom.
Role: Post 16 Teaching Assistant
Location: Enfield, London
Contract: Full time
Start: ASAP
Rate: £95-£110 Per Day
Post 16 Teaching Assistant | Ideal Candidate:
Assisting in the development of appropriate resources, schemes of work and teaching strategies
Supervising and supporting a child with mild ADHD as a 1:1
Supporting with behaviour management
Undertaking structured and agreed learning activities/teaching programmes, adjusting activities to ensure achievement of learning goals
Establishing good relationships with children, acting as a role model
Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all children, supporting difference and ensuring that all have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.Post 16 Teaching Assistant | We look for:
Have experience working with young people with SEMH needs or behavioural challenges
Remain calm and steady in difficult situations
Communicate clearly and confidently
Believe that progress looks different for everyone - and celebrate that
