Job Title: Post-16 Teaching Assistant – Southwark & Kingston upon Thames
Locations: Southwark or Kingston upon Thames
Salary: £90–£105 per day (PAYE)
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Thursday
Start Date: September 2025

We’re supporting two fantastic Post-16 settings in Southwark and Kingston upon Thames that work with young adults aged 16–25 with autism, learning difficulties, and communication needs. These aren’t your typical classrooms—they’re supportive, forward-thinking environments helping students build independence, life skills, and confidence beyond school.
Whether you come from a care background, support work, or you’re just great with people—this could be your ideal next step.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Supporting learners aged 16–25 in Post-16 provisions
Helping with communication, emotional regulation, and routine-based learning
Supporting functional skills, vocational tasks, and real-life prep (think: travel training, cooking, shopping)
Providing personal care and mobility support as needed
What We’re Looking For:
Available full-time, Monday to Thursday (yes—four days a week!)
Experience in SEN, care, youth work, or similar support roles
A confident, reliable presence who connects well with young adults
Someone ready to be hands-on, proactive, and part of a brilliant team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
