Warehouse Operative / Parcel Sorter – Wakefield 📦
We are currently recruiting reliable and hard-working Warehouse Operatives / Parcel Sorters to join a fast-paced parcel distribution centre in Wakefield, based at the Yorkshire Parcel Hub.
🕒 Shift Options & Pay Rates:
Early Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm - £12.54 per hour
Late Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm - £13.90 per hour
Night Shift: 10:00pm – 6:00am - £15.11 per hour
(Choose the shift that suits your schedule!)The role is being offered on a temporary ongoing basis.
🔧 Job Duties:
Sorting parcels by postcode and destination
Loading and unloading parcels from vans and conveyor belts
Ensuring accurate handling of parcels to avoid damages
Keeping the warehouse clean and safe
Working to tight deadlines in a team environment✅ Requirements:
Good level of physical fitness – heavy lifting may be involved
Punctual and dependable
Ability to work at a fast pace
