Drive business growth at leading health tech company
This is an excellent opportunity for a lead health or medical technology researcher interested in the commercial side of product development to join this health tech company. They are seeking candidates with deep domain knowledge to help drive and expand their business, working closely with clients and customers to understand their unique challenges.
Previous commercial experience is not required, instead they seek bright candidates with a suitable engineering background and enthusiasm for commercial development. You will be joining an existing team of consultants, learning through direct mentorship as well as support from domain experts across the company.
Requirements:
* Post-doctoral experience in mechanical or electronics engineering specifically related to biosensors, ophthalmology, cardiovascular devices, surgical devices, real-time medical imaging or closely related fields.
* Experience applying for funding and grants at the research group or university level (rather than individual grants).
* Experience in science communication targeted at both commercial and academic partners.
* Willing to travel for in-person meetings or events across the UK, Europe and USA.
You will be joining a long established and world recognised technology and product development company based just outside Cambridge. There are clear opportunities for career growth within the company, and they offer a strong benefits package including enhanced employer pension contributions, private medical insurance (including coverage for dependants) and a bonus scheme.
