Potato Graders needed x 4 candidates needed:
Based in Whittlesey PE7 2HP
Seasonal Role - Start 2nd week of September to February 2026
Working Hours - 6 days per week with 8am starts.
Pay Rate £12.21 per hour plus £1 more on a Saturday
Berry recruitment is currently seeking Potato Graders to work as a team and to support the upcoming harvest season. This is a hands-on role - manual handling is required and is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail and team management skills.
Main responsibilities:
Working as a team of grading staff; ensuring a continual work flow and ensuring that the break times are shared to keep the lines going.
Ensure standards are met within the grading and that no foreign objects get though during the grading process.
You will be working on the Stationary Grader, so no need to worry about travel sickness!
Requirements:
Must be available from February, including working Saturday and/or Sunday (working 6 days a week)
Usual start times 8am - flexibility around workdays will be needed.
Own transport advantageous due to location- some lift shares may be available at a cost of £6 per day paid to the driver.
Must wear relevant PPE - Safety boots and a hi vis, gloves will be provided by the farm
