Job Title: Powder Coater
Location: Leatherhead, Surrey
Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Profit-Related Bonus
Hours: 40 hours per week – Day Shift
Monday to Friday, 11:30am – 8:00pm
30-minute unpaid break daily
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-TimeJob Description We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Powder Coater to join our production team in Leatherhead. This is a permanent, full-time role on a day shift schedule, working within a modern facility and contributing to the high-quality finish of our manufactured components.
As a key member of the finishing team, you will be responsible for the preparation, coating, and curing of metal products to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for powder coating including cleaning, masking, and pre-treatment
Apply powder coating using electrostatic spray guns in a spray booth environment
Ensure even and thorough coverage of all components
Operate and monitor curing ovens
Inspect finished parts for defects such as poor coverage, runs, or contamination
Maintain and clean spray equipment and booth as required
Follow health and safety and environmental regulations at all times
Meet production deadlines while ensuring quality standards are upheldCandidate Requirements
Proven experience as a powder coater in a manufacturing or finishing environment
Familiarity with powder coating equipment, materials, and processes
Good eye for detail and ability to identify finish defects
Physically fit and capable of lifting, standing, and working in a workshop environment
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Ability to follow instructions and work independentlyBenefits
