Location: Broadstairs
Salary: Depending on experience
Job Type: Temporary – permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7am-3:30pm + overtime
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Powder Coater to join our clients busy and growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes. You will be responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing products to meet both customer specifications and internal quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed
* Apply powder coating using spray equipment and ensure an even and high-quality finish
* Operate ovens and other equipment to cure coated items
* Inspect finished products for quality and consistency
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
* Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of coating equipment
* Follow all health & safety guidelines and procedures
Requirements:
* Proven experience in powder coating or industrial painting (1+ years preferred)
* Strong attention to detail and quality
* Ability to read and interpret job specifications or drawings
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
* Physically fit and able to lift heavy items as required
* Good communication and teamworking skills
