Job Description
We are seeking an experienced POWDER COATER to work EITHER permanent days OR permanent nights with an established powder coating business based in Bilston.
Core hours : Mon to Fri, 40 hrs per week. 7am to 4pm OR 7pm to 4am, both plus overtime
Basic Salary : Entirely dependent on experience and discussed at interview but anticipated circa £25,500- £26,500
Review : After completing 3 months probation
Overtime : Plenty – this position attracts upwards of £10,000 pa overtime
As a POWDER COATER you will be expected to undertake the following key activities:
* Powder spraying primarily
* Colour changes
* Loading powder coating lines
* Packing products
* Maintaining hand spraying equipment and automated booths
The successful POWDER COATER, will display the following key skills and experience:
* Hand spraying powder or paint
* Loading powder coating lines
* Handling powders and chemicals
* Meticulous attention to detail
* Working with box ovens
* Physically able to undertake reasonable lifting and carrying
* Focused work ethic and “can do attitude”
This position will ideally suit an experienced Powder Coating Sprayer with experience of hand spraying, seeking to further their career in a rapidly expanding and busy powder coating
