Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Powder Coater Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of a busy powder coating department. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on coating expertise, proven leadership ability, and a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate a small team to maintain efficient workflow and high-quality output.
* Oversee production schedules, ensuring jobs are completed on time.
* Maintain equipment, ensuring proper setup, safe operation, and regular upkeep.
* Carry out quality checks, diagnose coating issues, and implement corrective actions.
* Mentor and train team members in best practice techniques and health & safety procedures.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve production challenges and meet targets.
Requirements
* Solid background in powder coating with in-depth knowledge of processes, materials, and equipment.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Commitment to safe working practices.
* Forklift license is an advantage but not essential.
